Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The first time that I visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio was awesome, but for some reason all the pictures got deleted off my phone (I probably had something to do with that). Since my daughter lives near Cleveland I got to go back. This time I was going to ensure that my pictures would be safe. Even though I had already seen all the displays, I was still in awe and was just as excited as the first time I had visited this place. The only thing that I couldn’t understand is why “Ozzy” has not been inducted yet? I saw that there was a Black Sabbath display, but when I asked about “Ozzy” the attendant said that he hadn’t been inducted yet. I really hope they do induct him while he is still alive. This place is for anyone who likes any kind of music (rock, metal, grunge, country, southern rock, soul, hip hop, 50’s – they have it all covered here. If you are into music, make sure you add visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio to your bucket list, its worth it.

The BrothersP – Who are these guys?

BrothersP is the stage name of Gary and Mike Petrin (Gary Petrin being the owner of AVCSS Guitar World). Many years ago we traveled all around the USA playing gigs in our old bus playing rock and roll, southern rock, country, and pop. The bus was constantly breaking down, musicians kept coming and going, met tons of great people, had to play for the door money a few times, and had the time of our lives. These days the BrothersP are focused on writing and producing original songs, music videos, and stories of our adventures on the road. Check us out at www.brothersp.com to watch our videos, read stories, etc.

1978 Les Paul Standard

I learned how to play the guitar on a Fender Telecaster, and it ended up being my main axe up until I moved out to California in 1978. I passed this music store every day after work and just marveled at this Sunburst 1978 Les Paul Standard that was displayed in the window. I always liked to believe that they kept this guitar in the window just to “tease” me. I ended up selling my van and walked into the music store with cash. And yes, I left with the 1978 Sunburst Les Paul Standard that was in the window. I’ve had this guitar for over 35 years now and still love to play it.
